Japan Part 1 - Behind the Scenes

Because of many requests from friends about my 'last trip' in Japan so here we are!

Previous Story:
I know the first question in your head now, how come I chose Japan to travel? Isn't it too expensive and too difficult?
So,  I'll tell you the secret is the "Promo Ticket". The key is to have it booked several months ago before traveling and because that there was an incident, there is some airlines give a crazy offer to Japan. I got the return tickets from KL to Tokyo about less than 1.500.000 IDR in April for travel in August.

The other secret is that you have to know when your holiday is started and over for the next one year so if you got promo ticket, you can just see the travel period and easy to decide if it's fit you!  The airlines always offer promo ticket for the next several months and the best price for the next year, so be prepared!

Also you have to know where's your next destination to go and have another backup plan for holidays.
Ex: You want to go to Japan but there's no promo at the time but you're also want to go HKG and there's an offer, so you can grab it easily and have no much worries to think because at the end it'll take you nowhere.

First day, 8 August

I don't remember exactly what time I get to the airport, maybe around 4.40pm (last minutes!) drop by Makassar Backpacker(MB) Admin and mate, thanks for advance! After go to counter cek in, go to the immigration then boarding. When boarding, my bag was requested to be weighed and thanks God it less than 7kg, though the other bag maybe more. I brought 2 backpack, one for clothes, gift for couch, chargers, etc and the others for daypack that contains books, itinerary, snacks, etc. At least, two of them was already full before departure that I dunno what they're! lol

After boarding, I go to downstairs again and meet MB mate, waiting for the Admin that going back to home for Lonely Planet for me! lol. Yeah, I just ask for borrow LP at the car when heading to the airport but drop me first to boarding. I dont make too much itenarary because I have a guide from travel book named 'Rp2,5juta Keliling Jepang' and 'Lost in Japan'. After wait for few minutes then I took the LP and go to the waiting room. The flight was on time. I left Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport at 17.30.

Arrive at LCCT, KL around 9pm. Walk to the immigration that already full of people, about 15minutes queuing. After from the immigration I plan to spent night at budget hotel around the airport because I was got cough and flu but after walk around the airport and ask other there's no one know except the Tune Hotel so I canceled the plan and back to terminal and get some food at Medan Selera FoodCourt. The menu is not much because already night, I chose Rice+Rendang+Vegetables that cost RM7 and bought mineral water from the convenience store next to the stand that cost me RM3,5!

After having dinner, get online using the wifi facility. When looking for plug, meet Indonesian friend that work in Malay, we have a nice conversation and spent the rest time until he gone for boarding.

The next day, I have Hot Plate breakfast from noodles and sapo tofu that cost RM8,5 and mineral water RM1,5(from the coffee stand). After having bf, prepared for check in and boarding. The last news, we have to check in again for verification before fly at least 45 minutes before departure even we have done it through internet.

While waiting, I bough some bread to eat on flight that estimated about 7hours, there's a glass wall for the waiting room for AIRASIA X that make us feel exclusive. :)
Finally, we're called for boarding, we must provide boarding pass, hotel booked, and being asked what's our interest to visit Japan, the tips is dont be nervous, just answer it with honest.
The flight depart at 14.40.

And Japan here we come!  XD

Second day, 9August

I arrived at 22.30 pm. After get down from the plane, I moved fast to the immigration. The staff had checked my backpack and permit me to walk, then I ask where to get the train or monorel and wether they're still available and have I enough time to catch the last or not. For some resources, then I run downstairs using escalators and go to the Keikyu Office to buy tickect. The cost is 400yen to Shinagawa.

From Shinagawa, I changed train to Shibuya. I arrived at 12.50am at Shibuya and looking for cybercafe because there's no more train go to my friend house and I was running out of pulse. Thanks God, I find one cybercafe that be my favorite one during in Japan named Manboo Cafe. So I spent few hour there until the train operate again to wait a friend.
